Motor City Chiefs
The Motor City Chiefs are a USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior B ice hockey team that plays in the Great Lakes Junior Hockey League (GLJHL). The team plays their home games at the Canfield Ice Arena in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.〔http://www.usahockey.com/Template_Usahockey.aspx?NAV=PL_04_14&id=211088〕 The players, ages 16–20, carry amateur status under Junior B guidelines and hope to earn a spot on higher levels of junior ice hockey in the United States and Canada, Canadian Major Junior, Collegiate, and eventually professional teams.
